These machines are universally applicable for all thermal cutting processes, plasma applications and marking processes. The robust steel frame construction and the air-cooled double gantry bridge provide the necessary rigidity and thus excellent stability. The running track of the machine consists of heavy mechanically machined S49 railroad rails, which are mounted on a HE 300 B girder foundation.
The HD series cuts materials up to 800 mm thick with the high-quality heavy-duty cutting equipment and is available in cutting widths between 4.0 and 15.0 m.
Excellent running characteristics result from two torsionally rigid carriages that are precisely moved by a positive-locking, double-sided longitudinal drive through three-phase synchronous motors with magnetic couplings.
The transverse drive is by means of a wear-free toothed belt which is driven by a three-phase synchronous motor with high-precision planetary gearing. Depending on the application, the cutting units can also be individually controlled via rack and pinion.
Depending on the application, individual control of the cutting units via rack/pinion is also possible.
